M. J. Arlett was born in the UK, spent several years in Spain and now lives in Miami. She is an MFA candidate in poetry at Florida International University where she is the nonfiction editor for Gulf Stream Magazine. She is a founding editor at the Plath Poetry Project and will begin her PhD at the University of North Texas in the fall.
